ABOUT
Hi my loves — I’m Keila Totaro, I have started ‘Bodies of Desire’ as a project as it is something that has always been at the core of what I like to explore in conversations with my friends who never cease to inspire me. With this project, I want to create a space in which women and artists can explore what desire and sexuality means to them and how it is influenced by the world that they live in. First and foremost, I hope for it to be a project that will bring the work of amazing, kind and talented people to you, day in and day out. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I have enjoyed the process of crafting it <3
Our mission & vision
‘Bodies of desire' is an intersectional, creatively driven magazine for the sexually curious and politically conscious. A space crafted to explore desire not just as an act but a lens through which to understand identity, culture and creativity.
Bodies of Desire is a magazine that positions sexuality and eroticism as a creative, cultural and personal act. Its approach is rooted in intersectionality and feminism driven by being on the brink of a second sexual revolution and Gen Z’s reframing of desire.
I hope to create a safe space for women to have honest and vulnerable conversations about desire and sexuality in all of its forms with one another. Beyond that I aim to create a space in which women can empower and support each other in their experiences, in their work and in their art.
